Syracuse point guard Jason Hart is adept at taking care of the basketball and taking it away from others. He'll have his hands full doing both in the Orangemen's Sweet Sixteen matchup with Michigan State. Hart is the career steals leader at Syracuse with 699 and ranks second all-time in school history in assists with 326. He can also score with more than 1,400 points in his career. Many of those points came from behind the 3-point line, and he is also the school's career leader in 3-point baskets.
Hart will have his hands full scoring, stealing or dishing against Michigan State. Hart will match up with Spartan point guard Mateen Cleaves in what should be one of the more intriguing individual matchups in the tourney.
"I don't worry about things like one-on-one matchups, those things seem to take care of themselves," said Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim. "They are both great players and great leaders, and both have had great years."
