Tennessee should sail right into St. Louis, with the only
stormy weather coming in the Mideast Regional final against Texas Tech.
Defending champ Connecticut and their Big East rival Notre Dame face too
many challenges in the early rounds to be considered sure bets for the
Final Four.

Rutgers over Duke. C. Vivian Stringer's teams seem to like
it out West. Last year they upset Georgia in Portland, Oregon to go the
Final Four. This year the Scarlet Knights vaunted defense will bedevil Duke
in the Sweet 16.

Tennessee . The Lady Vols have adjusted quite well to playing
without star forward Tamika Catchings. They have the easiest region and the
easier opponent in the national semifinals. Pat Summitt will get her
seventh championship ring on April 1.
