CHAMPAIGN, Illinois (Ticker) -- Tawana McDonald scored 22 points and Coco Miller added 17 as fifth-ranked Georgia came from behind to defeat No. 21 Boston College, 78-70, in the semifinals of the Preseason WNIT. Georgia will play 13th-ranked Santa Barbara in Monday's championship game. MacDonald hit 11-of-14 shots from the field for Georgia (3-0), which shot 47 percent (29-of-62) from the floor and was 17-of-24 from the foul line. Coco Miller added eight assists. The Bulldogs were trailing late in the second half until Kelly Miller's jumper put Georgia ahead to stay at 68-67 with 2:53 remaining. Becky Gottstein and Jamie Cournoyer scored 14 points apiece for Boston College (2-1), which shot 43 percent (28-of-65).
