CANCUN, Mexico (Ticker) -- Tynesha Lewis scored 16 points, including a free throw with five seconds left, as No. 9 North Carolina State rallied for a 73-72 triumph over Kansas State in the Cancun Basketball Tournament.

The Wolfpack (5-0) scored 12 straight points to open a 72-63 lead with 2:13 remaining. All-American candidate Summer Erb scored eight points during that stretch as the Wolfpack trailed by as many as 10 points earlier in the half.

Kansas State (1-2) scored the next nine points on a trio of three-point plays for a 72-72 tie. Morgen Finneran knotted the contest from beyond the arc with seven seconds left.

Nicky Ramage fouled Lewis, who hit 1-of-2 free throws for the win in this pre-determined tournament. The Wolfpack converted 12-of-17 foul shots and the Lady Wildcats were just 2-of-3.

Erb and Kaayla Chones added 15 points apiece for NC State, which shot 53 percent (17-of-32) in the second half and 44 percent (28-of-64) overall.
