MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina (Ticker) -- Andrea Garner scored 19 points and Marissa Graby and Chrissy Falcone added 12 apiece as No. 6 Penn State cruised to a 69-54 victory over Clemson.

Lisa Shepherd had 11 points and 10 rebounds while Helen Darling handed out 10 assists for the Lady Lions (7-2), who posted their third straight victory.

Penn State never trailed, jumping to an 11-2 lead on Maren Walseth's layup with 14:48 to play in the first half. The Lions grabbed a 40-27 lead on Shepherd's layup with 28 seconds remaining in the period before Erin Batth hit a 3-pointer to bring Clemson within 10 at the intermission.

Penn State put away the contest early in the second half, opening its biggest advantage at 59-42 on Walseth's free throw with 6:59 to play.

Batth had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Clemson (7-3), which had a modest two-game winning streak snapped. Nuria Forns added 13 points.

Penn State maintained a double-figure lead despite shooting only 30 percent (11-of-37) from the field in the second half. For the game, the Lady Lions shot 41 percent (29-of-70) while holding the Lady Tigers to 36 percent (22-of-61).
