STORRS, Connecticut (Ticker) -- Svetlana Abrosimova scored 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting and Stacy Hansmeyer and Kennitra Johnson added 13 points apiece as top-ranked Connecticut remained unbeaten with a 106-64 rout of No. 9 UCLA.
Connecticut (8-0) drained seven 3-pointers and shot 48 percent (17-35) from the field overall in the first half to open a 45-24 advantage. The Lady Huskies had no trouble finding the basket in the second half as they made a blistering 76 percent (22-of-29) of their shots, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.
The Lady Huskies dominated inside, outrebounding the Bruins, 50-30.
Marie Philman and Janae Hubbard scored 13 points apiece for UCLA (5-4), which suffered its second loss to a ranked opponent in three days. The Bruins lost to No. 16 Rutgers, 72-46, on Tuesday.
UCLA shot a miserable 23 percent (7-of-30) in the first half and 34 percent (23-of-66) overall.
