TALLAHASSEE, Florida (Ticker) -- Sheana Mosch scored 24 points to lead a balanced attack as sixth-ranked Duke continued its scoring barrage with a 102-80 Atlantic Coast Conference victory over Florida State. Sparked by Mosch, the Blue Devils reached the century mark for the second straight game and fifth time this season. They fell five points shy of matching their season high. Monique Currie added 21 points and Kristie Gingrich 14 for the Blue Devils, who shot 56 percent (19-of-34) in the first half, opening a 57-38 lead. Overall, they shot 57 percent (39-of-68) and made 11-of-22 3-pointers. Duke (15-3, 9-0 ACC) placed six players in double figures en route to winning its eighth straight game while remaining unbeaten in conference play. Shinikki Whiting netted 19 points and Petra Hofmann 16 for the Seminoles (11-9, 2-7), who lost for the seventh time in their last eight games. |
