BIOGRAPHY: Four-year starter awarded All-Conference honors the past two seasons. Senior-year totals included 54/6/10 after 49/7/9 the previous year. Terrific special teams player and kick returner.

POSITIVES: Active cornerback with a good degree of upside. Can flip his hips in transition, easily runs downfield with opponents, and displays a good burst of closing and recovery speed. Plays heads-up football, immediately locates the pass in the air, and positions himself against opponents to break up the throw. Possesses a burst out of his plant, nicely times defenses, and fights to break up the pass. Supports in run defense and comes up the field defending screen plays.

NEGATIVES: Slightly undersized and loses against bigger receivers.

ANALYSIS: Williams has been a productive and durable cornerback the past four years. He offers starting potential at the next level and has the ability to play in a variety of systems.
