BIOGRAPHY: Full-time starter the past two seasons after seeing extensive action with the first team during his freshman and sophomore campaigns. All-Conference selection after his junior and senior seasons.
POSITIVES: Athletic center who.s swiftly moving up draft boards. Plays with terrific quickness, effective in motion, and can hit a moving target. Redirects to linebackers well on the second level, plays with a nasty attitude, and fundamentally sound. Terrific position blocker and anchors at the point. Seals holes open in the middle of the line and works well with teammates. Intelligent and always keeps his head on a swivel.
NEGATIVES: Must improve the consistency of his shotgun snaps. Lacks the classic size and can be run over in the middle of the field. Average footwork in pass protection.
ANALYSIS: Pollak's game has been on the upswing the past year and he is a good prospect with a large degree of upside. He must improve his overall playing strength, yet he is a solid fit in a zone blocking scheme that puts its offensive linemen in motion. Should be the first center drafted.
