Quarterback Dameyune Craig ran for one touchdown and set up another with a 29-yard pass as Auburn overcame shoddy special teams play to record a 21-17 victory over Clemson in the Peach Bowl at Atlanta.

Auburn QB Dameyune Craig has thrown for 3,277 yards and 18 TDs, at times leading the Tigers to victory seemingly all by himself. Clemson QB Nealon Greene has thrown for 16 TDs, with half of them going to WR Tony Horne. The Green-Horne connection is nothin g new - the two juniors have combined for six 100-yard games this season.

Auburn needs to run the ball, plain and simple. When they run for positive yardage they're 9-0, but when they put up negative rushing numbers, they're 0-3. The Tigers run by committee - the team's leading rusher, Rusty Williams, has 278 yards on the seaso n. By comparison, Clemson's Raymond Priester had 204 yards against Maryland this year. Auburn's young defense won't let that happen, but the Tigers must put points on the board - they scored a combined 10 points in losses to Florida and Mississippi State.

Craig accounts for 77.9 percent of Auburn's total yardage, while Greene is responsible for a mere 54.9 percent of Clemson's offense.
