MANHATTAN, Kansas (Ticker) -- Meeting unranked for the first time in 36 years, Kansas State continued its recent dominance over Big 12 North Division rival Nebraska behind the legs of backup quarterback Allen Webb.

Webb, playing in place of injured Dylan Meier, ran for 147 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to their third straight win over the Cornhuskers, 45-21.

The sophomore opened the scoring with touchdown runs of 13 and eight yards in the first quarter. After Nebraska (4-3, 2-1 Big 12 North) moved to within 24-21 in the third behind a returned fumble by strong safety Daniel Bullocks, Webb scored twice more.

Webb, who had 124 passing yards on 14-of-24 attempts, could have tied a school record with five TDs, but he fumbled attempting to score early in the fourth.

Senior running back Darren Sproles added 148 yards and two touchdowns on the ground for Kansas State (3-4, 1-3 Big 12 North), which rolled up 418 yards of total offense, winning for the first time in four games.

Sproles, who had one reception for 16 yards, finished the game with a career total of 6,010 all-purpose yards, breaking the Big 12 record held by Texas' Ricky Williams, a former Heisman Trophy winner.

Brandon Jackson had a pair of touchdown runs for the Cornhuskers, who lost their second straight conference road game under first-year coach Bill Callahan.
