COLUMBIA, Missouri (Ticker) -- Quarterback Allen Webb helped Kansas State win the battle of big plays with Missouri.

Webb sparked a furious comeback as the Wildcats rallied from a three-touchdown deficit to post a 35-24 victory over the Tigers in a Big 12 Conference matchup.

Webb threw just eight times but completed six attempts for 111 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns for Kansas State (4-5, 2-4 Big 12 North), which has won 12 straight against Missouri. Webb's second TD pass, a 20-yarder to Antoine Polite, gave the Wildcats the lead for good, 28-24, with 9:39 remaining.

Linebacker Brandon Archer sealed the win with a 25-yard interception return for a score with 8:52 left.

Missouri led, 21-0, before Kansas State running back Darren Sproles broke loose for touchdown runs of 10 and 74 yards, the latter with 8 1/2 minutes left in the third quarter.

Sproles, who gained 160 yards on 21 carries, became the first Wildcat to record three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. The senior has 1,096 yards on 209 carries this season and is the school's all-time leader with 4,757 yards and 43 touchdowns.

The Tigers got off to a quick start with three long scoring plays. Marquis Woods scored on a 21-yard run and Brad Smith connected with Sean Coffey twice on scoring passes of 59 and 31 yards.

Smith completed 15-of-34 passes for 218 yards and two interceptions and Coffey had three catches for 100 yards for Missouri (4-5, 2-4 North), which has lost four straight conference games.

Smith became Missouri's all-time leader in touchdown passes, with 41.
