Not very many centers enter the draft a year early, but Woody is an exception player. He is a four year starter at Boston College and he is a dominating and consistent performer. He combines toughness and good instincts with solid overall skills and he has the strength and explosiveness to handle power nose tackles, but also the quickness and movement to get out on linebackers and adjust in space. He is not a great athlete and is a little more of a mauler and brawler type, but he comes off the ball well and he is rarely on the ground. He has a knack for getting himself in good position and he has a great feel for the game. He plays a little better than his athletic skills would indicate and he is by far the most dominating center in this draft and he may be the best to come along in a few years.
