Family ties
The big one looms, leaving little time for family

Tennessee Titans cornerback Samari Rolle, a second-year player out of Florida State, is filing a diary for CNNSI.com throughout the Super Bowl. He talked with CNNSI.com's John Donovan on Thursday morning. Here's his report:
ATLANTA -- This has been a hectic week, there's a lot going on. But I think we're handling it well. We're still the same team. We're not going to change a lot. I don't think we're getting too serious or worked up or anything as the game gets nearer. To me, everything seems the same. We're still loose, I think.
My family is coming to town tonight [Thursday], so I think that's when everything will start to change.
My mom and dad are coming to see the game. My brother, aunt and uncle ... a bunch of them. I got 15 tickets for the game. I think that'll take care of about everybody.
When they get here, I'll go see them. We might do some shopping, But that's about it. It's too cold, especially for somebody from Florida.
A lot of guys are staying in this week, or at least not staying out real late. Probably because of the cold. We've had a 12:30 [a.m.] curfew for the first few days, but I don't that think too many guys are pushing it. I'm not sure, but that [curfew] will probably change before Sunday.
The whole week has been fun. All the outside stuff, all the attention, stuff we don't deal with normally, that's the hardest part. But it's not a big deal. Being away from home, too, for a week at a time is a little difficult. But that's fine.
As the game gets closer, I don't think I'll even get to see my family much at all. I don't think I'll see them at all Saturday, and probably not Sunday, either, until after the game.
We will start focusing in on the game more as we get closer to Sunday. I really can't say what we'll do [as far as a gameplan], but I expect it to be a tough game. The Rams are a good team, with a lot of weapons.
As far as myself, we'll practice Friday and have some meetings and do some stuff Saturday. I'll watch a little TV, study my gameplan a little, and that's about it. Nothing real exciting.
Hopefully, that'll come Sunday.
