ATLANTA (CNN/SI) -- Running backs re-asserted themselves in Week 6, with eight rushers gaining more than 95 yards and playing pivotal roles.

Marshall Faulk showed his value once again, proving that the now 5-0 St. Louis Rams are much more than a Kurt Warner-led passing attack. Faulk gained 181 yards on 18 carries and scored a touchdown in the Rams 41-13 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. He also caught three passes for 32 yards, and his longest run from scrimmage covered 49 yards.

On the passing front, the Broncos' Brian Griese had the best day of his young career in Denver's 31-10 thrashing of the Green Bay Packers. Griese was 19 of 31 for 363 yards, tossing two touchdown passes and giving up only one interception. Griese also scored a touchdown on a two-yard plunge following a fake shovel pass.

Best Performance in a Loss

On the receiving end, the Bears' Marcus Robinson had a monster day, gaining 136 yards on only four catches and scoring a touchdown in Chicago's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. His longest catch was an 80-yard TD bomb from Cade McNown.

Randy Moss of the Vikings earns honorable mention in this category, catching 10 passes for 125 yards and one touchdown in Minnesota's wrenching 25-23 loss to the Detroit Lions.
