This time, Dan Marino was Johnson's undoing. The future Hall of Famer, making his first start in six weeks, tied a career-worst with five interceptions. Cleveland's Tim Couch looked good behind center, methodically driving the offense 86 yards in the second quarter to tie the game at 7-7, then completing a 78-yard bomb to Terry Kirby minutes later to go ahead 14-7.

Doug Flutie connected with Eric Moulds on a 54-yard touchdown play and Sam Gash for 31-yard touchdown, giving the Bills all the scoring they needed.
