Avalanche roll on
Forsberg carries Avs past Coyotes, into second round
With Peter Forsberg back in the lineup, the Colorado Avalanche may be peaking at the right time. Forsberg, who missed 33 games with an injury, scored a goal and assisted on another as the Avs eliminated Phoenix with a 2-1 win in Game 5. It just keeps getting worse for the Coyotes. The Phoenix franchise lost in the first round of the playoffs for the ninth straight time.
