Australian Open Finals

The men's and women's Australian Open Championships were both won in convincing fashion, but one was by an unlikely player. Andre Agassi added to his impressive list of Grand Slam titles, winning his third Australian Open and seventh title overall, by easily defeating Arnaud Clement. It was Jennifer Capriati who surprised everyone. Continuing a remarkable comeback, Capriati defeated top-seeded Martina Hingis in straight sets to win her first Grand Slam.
