Graziani overshadows debuts of Stoichkov, Beasley
Perhaps Ariel Grazian’s most impressive feat during Major League Soccer’s opening weekend was that he overshadowed two highly anticipated league debuts -- those of Chicago Fire forward Hristo Stoichkov, the 34-year-old “Mad Bulgarian,” and his Fire teammate DaMarcus Beasley, a U.S. national team attacker half his age. The Dallas Burn forward continued his blazing scoring pace to earn MLS player of the week honors after leading the Burn past the Fire 4-2.
