YOU MAY BE WONDERING WHY THE 39-PAGE SECTION THAT opens this fantasy football magazine is named the Quick Setup Guide (QSG). It's simple. All of you have bought some sort of complicated electronic equipment, say a surround-sound system, that comes with two instruction manuals: the thick-as-a-phonebook Owner's Manual and the slimmer Quick Setup Guide. The former is intended to answer every question you may have; the latter is designed to get you up and running quickly. Our QSG is the fantasy version of the latter. (The rest of the magazine is the former.) The information in the QSG—Peter King's MMQB, the SI writers roundtable, draft strategies—will be enough to get your fantasy team rolling. But it's only an appetizer for the main meal.
